
Tatiana Cleveland
Officer, Subawards
Tatiana Cleveland is a Subawards Officer at Climate United, working with the compliance and legal team to ensure adherence to federal regulations. Tatiana has a background in grant oversight specific to passthrough funding and subrecipient award management. She has spent the last decade working with programs that serve under resourced and marginalized communities across the country. Her experience has taken her from North Carolina, to Georgia, Texas, and now the DMV metro area.
Before joining Climate United, Tatiana's work focused on implementing capacity increasing interventions via AmeriCorps programming, as well as providing technical assistance to community serving subrecipients navigating the federal grant life cycle. She has worked with several nonprofits with multistate offerings, including the Corps Network, OneStar Foundation, and previously as a Portfolio Manager with the South-Central Regional Office of AmeriCorps. Tatiana is also a 3x AmeriCorps Alumna, having served in AmeriCorps NCCC, VISTA, and State and National.
Tatiana holds a master's degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in Liberal Studies, and a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in Mass Communications with a focus on Public Relations. Outside of work she enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.
