About Us
Climate United is a national coalition focused on making sure every American—no matter where they live or their circumstance—can participate in the clean energy transition and in the benefits it brings like quality jobs, cleaner air, and savings on energy bills. We provide loans for clean energy projects to communities and small businesses who lack access to affordable financing options.
Climate United is helping to build a stronger American economy, higher quality affordable housing, and robust local workforces to secure lasting benefits for communities and the future of our planet.
The Climate United coalition is formed by Calvert Impact, Community Preservation Corporation (CPC), and Self-Help. Together, the partners have experience directly deploying more than $30 billion of private and institutional capital to address climate change and provide new, lasting economic opportunities in low-income and disadvantaged communities.

A Historic Opportunity
Climate United coalition received a $6.97 billion award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s National Clean Investment Fund. This funding presents a once-in-a-life opportunity to ensure all Americans benefit from a clean energy transition by delivering solar and energy storage, electric vehicles, higher quality affordable housing, building upgrades, and other clean energy solutions to underserved communities across the country. By focusing on these communities, more Americans will be able to benefit from clean energy investments today and the economic opportunities it will bring for generations to come. Our work will transform markets so that the green choice makes sense in everyday lending and borrowing.
