Cortney Mukushi

Associate General Counsel

Cortney Mukushi is the Associate General Counsel at Climate United Fund, where she plays a critical role in providing guidance on the legal aspects of the organization’s initiatives to accelerate the transition to a clean energy future and deployment of its National Clean Investment Fund funding. Cortney brings over 15 years of experience in project finance, corporate finance, and structured finance.

Before joining Climate United Fund, Cortney served as Assistant General Counsel at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), where she led legal negotiations for complex, multi-million-dollar international finance transactions. Cortney’s extensive background also includes her tenure as a Senior Attorney for the WIFIA program at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, as well as legal roles at the Federal Highway Administration, Amazon.com, and Clifford Chance US LLP.

Cortney holds a law degree from Duke University School of Law and when not working, she enjoys spending time with her family.
