Emmanuel Beryhun

Emmanuel Beryhun is the Vice President of People at Climate United, where he will be spearheading the people function to foster, develop, and support the organization as it navigates the management of its grant from the National Clean Investment Fund. In this role, Emmanuel is dedicated to enhancing organizational culture and employee engagement while driving strategic HR initiatives aligned with Climate United's mission and goals.
With 20 years of experience, Emmanuel excels in driving strategic HR initiatives that align technology with business goals, enhance employee experience, and promote diversity and inclusion. He has led HR transformations across organizations of varying sizes and maturity stages on a global scale, including roles such as Global Director of People & Culture at B Lab Global and Executive Director of Talent & Culture at POLITICO. Emmanuel attended the University of Maryland Global Campus, where he studied Human Resource Management, and holds SPHR and GPHR certifications. He lives in Silver Spring, MD, with his wife and two young children.
