Laura Mixter
Director, Impact Measurement and Management,
Laura Mixter is Climate United’s Director of Impact Measurement and Management, leading the development and implementation of the organization’s impact strategy and framework. Prior to joining Climate United, Laura served as the first ESG & Impact Reporting Lead at Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), leading the implementation of LISC’s Lending Impact Matrix. She has a decade of community development experience serving in a variety of roles including secondary markets, asset management and impact measurement and management. In 2024, Laura contributed to What’s Possible: Investing Now for Prosperous, Sustainable Neighborhoods, a collection of essays exploring the intersection of community development and climate resilience organized by LISC, Enterprise Community Partners and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Laura holds a BA in public policy and an MBA with a concentration in financial analysis, both from Duke University. She lives in Chicago, IL and spends her free time crafting, baking and honing her trivia skills.
