Marc Kokosky
Vice President, Enterprise Risk
Marc Kokosky is Vice President, Enterprise Risk at Climate United, and is instrumental in developing and implementing risk management strategies to ensure the successful execution of Climate United's mission and programs. His work focuses on developing and executing an enterprise risk management framework, overseeing the audit management program of CUF, and providing integrity oversight for the quality assurance program required over the technical results submitted to the EPA for its grant reporting.
Over the course of his 20-year career prior to joining CUF, he has served in various ethics, compliance, risk management, and internal audit roles in the international development space, ensuring the successful implementation of grants and contracts across more than 65 countries and spanning multiple federal and international donors.
Marc received his undergraduate degree in Russian/Eurasian Studies from George Mason University, and an MBA from the Kogod School of Business at American University. He also holds industry several industry certifications: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), and Certification in Control Self-Assessment (CCSA).
He lives in Staunton, VA with his wife, Laura; and two children, Max and Sophie.
